Wacken Open Air 2007

Para auellos que no lo saben, Wacken Open Air es el festival de metal más grande e importante del mundo, llegando a reclutar a más de 30 mil headbangers cada año. Se creó en 1990 como un pequeño festival de bandas locales, pero al corto tiempo fue adquiriendo más y mas seguidores hasta llegar a convertirse en un suceso monumental. Se realiza en la pequeña ciudad de Wacken ubicada al norte de Alemania, a unos 50 km de Hamburgo. Este pueblito no supera los 2000 habitantes durante 362 días del año, sin embargo su poblacion crece 15 veces durante los tres dias de agosto en que se realiza la fiesta de metal mas grande de todas.
Sin lugar a dudas Wacken es la Meca de los chascones, la cuna que refugia a miles de fanaticos de todo el mundo que siguen este movimiento socio-cultural llamado "Metal". Pero no crean que Chile se ha quedado ageno a este magnanimo evento ya que en el 2002 Criminal tuvo el privilegio de presentarse y pasar a la historia como el primer grupo chileno y uno de los pocos latinos en tocar en este singular escsenario.
El año 2007 salió un dvd de edicion limitada que contenia un documental sobre el festival, a su vez se se editaron tres cd´s con lo mejor del concierto.
